Zubin KothawalaPresident & Senior Advisor
Zubin has been in the business of selling and installing IT, satellite communications and services for the last 18 years.
Areas of operation have been mainly in Afghanistan, Iraq, Djibouti and Myanmar. He currently maintains an office in Kabul, Djibouti and in Myanmar.
During the latter years, Zubin sold satellite bandwidth for US DOD Drones, as well as NATO special forces for the purpose of controlling drones. Currently, with the increase of demand for drone services, Zubin is pursuing the use of drones within commercial applications, as well as setting up an online retail drone business.
Today Zubin has now expanded to selling military aircraft and military grade drones to various foreign militaries.

Mike MorellatoAerial Survey and Mapping Specialist
Mike entered into the realm of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) from a strong background in Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing. He founded Skymount’s partner company for high-end specialist aerial survey and mapping services: West Coast Geospatial
From 3D mapping of geophysical data at mining camps to modeling wildlife habitat for environmental protection plans, Mike has a wide range of experience in the application of geospatial data for decision making.
When not at work, Mike continues to feed his mapping addiction with route finding while scrambling to that next peak or navigating through the backcountry, both at home and abroad.
Geoff KingBusiness Development and Aeronautical Engineer
Geoff has been building and flying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the past 7 years.
He began his career at the University of Victoria and has a B.Eng. in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from McGill University.
Geoff’s experience includes working on a fully autonomous airship at at the McGill Aerospace Mechatronics Laboratory, building an 11-ft wingspan medium-altitude long endurance UAV, and working on a payload for the International Space Station.
Geoff is currently completing his Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, and is enthusiastic about the future for commercial UAVs.
Neil ImpeyAerial Camera Operator
A graduate of Vancouver Film School, Neil is passionate about filmmaking, high-end cameras and capturing great looking shots.
When not on location with Skymount Neil is busily shooting his own short films or flying around the world on location as a Visual Effects coordinator and wrangler.
